Training
Our focus is on functional, multi-joint movements that involve your core and mimic the way you move in everyday life. We will first look at your posture and analyze your movement to look for "trouble spots" (muscular imbalance or poor posture). We will then work with you using exercises and movements to correct any problems. We take the time to teach you how to perform these movements correctly with proper form. Once proper form is achieved, we will ramp up the intensity of your workouts. This approach has proven to be effective in improving mid-line stabilization which improves balance and helps in injury prevention.
Taking the muscles and joints through a full range of motion also helps to increase the working flexibility of those joints. This translates to better performance in organized competition or just an easier time making it up the steps with the groceries. Our training sessions are always different and you will learn a new way to move each session so your workouts won't get stale and motivation stays high.
We have all of our own equipment and can bring the workout to you, in your home.
