Proper nutrition is the single most important variable in any fitness plan.  Attempting to see lasting gains in your health and fitness without addressing your nutrition is wasted time.  We will provide you with the guidance to make sound nutritional choices to fuel your body for performance in workouts and help prevent any number of diseases.

Cleaning up your eating habits is the single most important thing you can do to improve your health.

Our nutritional approach is to think of food as a drug that affects your body.  A sound nutritional plan will use quality foods to not only help you shed unwanted pounds of fat and improve lean muscle mass, but will also increase energy levels and prevent a number of common diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, hypertension, etc.  There are no secret potions or supplements needed, just food in its most natural state. 

We advocate a way of eating that is based on principles of what is known as Paleo or an ancestral approach to eating.  Eating foods in their most natural state is the way the body is supposed to be fed.   We have found that people hold their nutritional beliefs as close as their religious beliefs and tend to take a black or white, all or nothing approach.  We have also found this all or nothing approach to be temporary and less effective than a gradual transition to a way of eating that places emphasis on food quality and consuming whole foods with little to no processing.  Everyone is different and no one nutritional subscription will work for everyone so we do not wed ourselves to one approach.
