What you do when you are not working out is as important as what you do during your workout. We will provide you with techniques to reduce the stress in your life and recover quickly from our workouts. This includes a focus on sleeping patterns, lifestyle choices, post workout stretching routines, foam rolling, and icing.
Taking charge of your life begins with setting challenging, but realistic goals and working hard to reach those goals. Success in this often means breaking out of your comfort zone and exploring different ways to achieve those goals. It also involves a critical look at whether your lifestyle choices match your stated goals. In our training, we focus on developing the mind as much as the body. Knowledge of healthy practices is as important as the practice itself. We provide the why with the how. Learning to handle the intensity of our workouts leads to mental toughness. This growth in mental strength helps to develop a self-confidence that transfers over into every aspect of your life.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are
inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond
measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually, who are we not to be?…Your playing small doesn’t serve the
world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won’t
feel insecure around you… And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our
own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
