We are husband and wife personal trainers and lifestyle coaches and are the proud parents of two little ones. We share a passion for healthy living and fitness and have been involved in fitness as participants and practitioners for most of our lives. We bring an added bonus to our training in that we both are or have been teachers. We understand individual learning styles and how to break skills and concepts down and present them in a more meaningful way. Rather than just put you through a workout, our goal is to teach you how to be healthy.
Our mission is to be the catalyst for information sharing on all things relating to nutrition, fitness and lifestyle factors that improve the quality of life for our clients and in turn, our community. We will do this by providing the best training, most recent and effective nutritional information, and an examination of lifestyle factors that may be holding individuals back from achieving the best quality of life possible.
Our approach to fitness is simple, but not easy. We take an integrated view of your fitness by looking at exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle factors that all play a critical role in your health and well being. Our belief is that the body wants to be healthy and our goal is to teach you how to manage these three elements so that you can look, feel, and perform better than ever.
We offer small group and one on one fitness training in the northern Montgomery County area.
I was an elementary and middle school teacher before staying home after the birth of my second child. Instead of going back to teaching, I decided to pursue my passion for fitness and received certifications from The American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Crossfit.
I have a degree in physical education from the University of Maryland and 15 years’ experience as a high school physical education teacher and coach of several sports including football, wrestling, baseball, and track and field. I am also a Crossfit certified trainer and a Functional Movement Screen Certified Practitioner.
